Limit the number of ads from radio stations hosted by streamtheworld.com

Als je dergelijke url's streamt vanuit de browser, hoor je maar eenmalig een pre-roll ad. Als je daarna wisselt van station, gebeurt dat niet.

In AIMP hoor je altijd een pre-roll ad als je wisselt van station.

WARNING: first close AIMP, because otherwise the AIMP app overrules your changes!

Je kunt de pre-roll ads dus niet helemaal skippen, maar wel het gedrag zoals in een browser nabootsen door een uuid-parameter toe te voegen aan de streamtheworld.com-URL's.

Album covers wrong on Android phone

Album covers on Android phone are:

• identical to AIMP on Windows when phone in landscape
• different to AIMP on Windows when phone in portrait
• solution: Settings > Album Arts:
  • disable Find in tags
  • enable Find in file folder

Bij het minimaliseren verschijnt het tray icon, maar ook een mini AIMP-spelertje: hoe krijg ik die weg?

• Preferences > System > Tray
• uncheck Show the Mini Player on minimizing to tray

Sync playlists between devices (Windows ► Android)

• export AIMP for Windows playlist:
  • open the playlist in AIMP for Windows and press Ctrl+S
  • uncheck the Absolute file paths checkbox and save the .xspf file
• tranfer the file to a location on your Android device
• import into AIMP for Android:
  • open AIMP
  • click on the hamburger menu top left (), then choose the + sign next to PLAYLISTS:
  • enter a name for your playlist and click on OK
  • click on the + sign bottom left and choose Import playlist...
  • navigate to the .xspf file and check it, then click on the check icon
  • the playlist is imported
