CSS modifications

• pub/System/NatSkin/BaseStyle.css
  • the worst thing was the font-family: way too small - changed it back to 'Verdana'
  • then the font color of the headings: changed it back from black to green (for some color in my life)
  • and finally the color of the hyperlinks: also changed it back from black to blue (for some more color in my life)

Apparently, on my Strato server, the normal .css is used, not the .gz version.

Now still have to look for the mods I already did on version 6.

• pub/NatSkin/BaseStyle.css

Compressed .css files

After the move of the webhosting to a new server, foswiki was displayed with the default NatSkin styles, it seemed as if the css modifications were ignored...

Apparently, on the new server the compressed .css files are used. So I had to throw my modified .css files into the same named .css.gz files.

• pub/System/JazzyNoteTheme/JazzyNoteStyle.css.gz
  
• pub/NatSkin/BaseStyle.css.gz

You can also do it directly on the server, e.g.:

gunzip -c hoverMenu.css.gz > hoverMenu.css
chown www-data:www-data *
vi hoverMenu.css
rm hoverMenu.css.gz
gzip -c hoverMenu.css > hoverMenu.css.gz

• Links bar not functional
• New topic slow
• Title of hidden webs not in sitemap
• images showing? (yes on boossy, not on odin)
• copy topic not working
